Who we are

Data controller: daters.gr, info@daters.gr.

What we collect

• Account: email, password (hashed), birth year, area, gender/profile type.
• Profile: nickname, photos, description, interests, who you are looking for. Sexual orientation and preference data are special category data (GDPR art. 9) and are processed only with your explicit consent, given at sign-up.
• Usage: messages, likes, profile visits, device, IP, login times.
• Payments: processed by the payment provider; we never store card details. We keep order history.

• First-300 list: email, what you are, birth year, area. Only to tell you when we open and to fill in your sign-up. Unconfirmed entries are deleted after 7 days and you can leave any time from your seat page.

Why

To run the service (contract), for safety and fraud prevention (legitimate interest), for notifications and offers by email (consent — switch off in settings), and for legal obligations.

Who sees it

Your profile (nickname, photos, description, age, area) is visible to other members. Your email is never shown. Processors acting on our behalf: Cloudflare (hosting, storage, AI), the payment provider, Google Analytics (anonymous statistics).

Automated review

Photos and texts are checked by automated systems for minors, fraud and term violations. Final account-termination decisions are made by a human.

Retention

As long as you have an account. After deletion, data is erased within 30 days, except what the law requires us to keep (e.g. invoices, 5 years).

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent. Write to info@daters.gr. You may lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr).

We use strictly necessary cookies (login, language, theme) and, with your consent, analytics cookies.
